Abrigo Kalpa

Manto’s objective is to integrate the artisanal tradition of spinners and weavers of the northern part of Argentina with urban crafts. Kalpa is a long coat, made in sheep wool and weaved in an artisanal traditional loom, it has side pockets and buttons in nickel silver with recycled rubber. The loom is the raw material, the typical poncho technique is recovered to make an item designed for urban use. Once the artisanal work in the province of Salta concludes, the work continues in tailor workshops in the city of Buenos Aires.
