Bivalved aerochamber tracheostomy model

The design of the aero-chamber for tracheostomized patients tried to solve the dosage of inhaled medication. Developing an aero-chamber with a one-way valve improved the results found with the additional flow of humidified air. This improvement reduces the loss of drug during exhalation. Benefits for the patient with this aero-chamber show a reduction in the treatment period, fewer drug loss and better therapeutical results.
